Sister Irina was baptised on October 2, 1993 at Hobart, Tasmania, Australia
Sister Irina Andronikova (taken at Br John and Sr Elva Marriott's) came to Hobart with her husband, a geologist who was carrying out research at the University. In the Hobart Craft Market she met Sr Ingrid Gaiswinkler who introduced her to the Bible. In the remaining weeks of her stay she learned the Truth and on the day before the family returned to St. Petersburg, she was baptized. She has made contact with the brothers and sisters in England and Russia and is co-operating in the work of preaching the Gospel.

Irina has translated into Russian a number of pamphlets, THE TEACHING OF THE MASTER (L. G. Seargent) and ELPIS ISRAEL (Parts 1 and 2 - written by Dr. Thomas) into Russian (the first part of the book was published in 1999 by Australian brotherhood).
